L/S Slugger Cutter (RB2)

Long series annular cutters for magnetic-base drills, sometimes referred to as "slugger" cutters. Instead of turning the whole hole into chips like a twist drill, an annular cutter cuts only a ring at the edge of the hole and leaves a solid core - the slug - which the spring-loaded pilot pin pushes out at the end of the cut. It is faster and needs less power than a twist drill of the same size, and gives a clean hole in one pass without pilot drilling.

Long series, about 50 mm depth of cut - for thick plate and stacked material. Use with the long pilot pin.
